Our Team

Dr. Robert Ramos was born in San Marcos, TX, and raised in Staples, TX. Dr. Ramos is a dedicated eye care professional with a strong educational and clinical background. A proud graduate of San Marcos High School (Class of 2006), Dr. Ramos went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas State University in May 2010.  In pursuit of a career in optometry, Dr. Ramos completed a Doctor of Optometry degree at the UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry in May 2014, earning certifications as both a Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. During training, Dr. Ramos gained hands-on experience through externships at the UIW Eye and Vision Care Clinic in San Antonio, Texas, including rotations at Fort Sam Houston and Kozlovsky, Delay, and Winter Eye Consultants.

Dr. Ramos is eager to serve the community that has given him so much. His vision for the office includes personalized care, improved patient outcomes, and community outreach and involvement.
 

When not in the clinic, Dr. Ramos enjoys staying active through weight training and city recreational sports and values his quality time with family.
